I watch music videos quite often but tend to only watch them if I have enjoyed the song beforehand. I enjoy a music video the most if it either has a narrative/story which follows the song but most importantly if the overall production and music video supports the energy the song is giving off. For example a good pop/rap song music video would tend to focus on aesthetic visuals, ballad/slow songs tend to follow a narrative and energetic pop/rock/punk songs would have a combination of both with snippets of live performances of the band if they're playing real instruments etc.

How often do they watch music videos: I very rarely decided to choose to click on music videos as I much prefer listening to it rather than watching the visuals. However, I would make exception to some artists that i support such as The Weekend or any current popular music artists that are being discussed by my other peers.

What do you like the most about music videos: Unfortunately, i don't delve into much detail when watching the video but some aspects which i can appreciate is the type of clothing the artists and other dancers are performing in.

How often do they watch music video: Occasionally, I will choose to play a song and select the music video version but it is unlikely that my whole attention is directed to the video. It is more commonly sitting there whilst I multitask with other tasks.

What do you like the most about music videos: Mostly, i enjoy music videos that are visually pleasing. I an normally attracted to videos that include a form of animation. In particular, I enjoy those narratives that include the supernatural and themes that aren’t expected. However, I do tend to avoid the preformative style of music video as i deem it quite boring.
